Interview with “Fish”
The second file in our GTFM Rock Show “listen again” series captures Andy Fox in conversation with ex-Marillion and long-time successful solo artist “FISH”.
One of the finest lyricists to emerge in British Rock Music in the 1980s Fish was of course the driving force behind Marillion as they made their mark as the best of the next generation of prog-rock bands. Classic albums like “Script For A Jester’s Tear”, “Misplaced Childhood” and “Clutching At Straws” remain huge favourites now some 20 odd years on from release. Fish of course left Marillion in 1988 for a solo career that has delivered a number of excellent albums. 2008 sees the retail release of his latest work, entitled “13th Star”.
Taken from the GTFM Rock Show of 27th February, Fish is in particularly fine form on this interview discussing life, love, Page 3 and the nights football!! Of course there is plenty of musical chat too during an 18 minute interview.
